Disney is preparing a series on Karl Lagerfeld

On the program: a mini-series of six episodes adapted from the eponymous biography of Raphaëlle Bacqué. It will feature an ambitious young Karl Lagerfeld, dreaming of becoming the most recognized French couturier at a time when Yves Saint Laurent is the undisputed figure of the fashion world. The rivalry between Lagerfeld and Pierre Bergé as well as his love affair with Jacques de Bascher will also be at the heart of the plot.
