These trends of the 60s are back

If some pieces from the 90s and 2000s have been invading our wardrobes for a few weeks now, it seems that the previous generations are far from having said their last word. From ultra-chic accessories to well-cut silhouettes, there is no denying the impact of this era on contemporary fashion. If at the time, musical icons like Sylvie Vartan, François Hardy, Jane Birkin or even France Gall defended the classic but flashy approach to clothing, today, it is the designers who breathe a swinging sixties aura on the fall locker room. Strong  trend for fall-winter 2021-2022, houses like Courrèges and Versace gave pride of place to the fetish decade on the catwalk. Pop prints, material play, puff-sleeve dresses and oversized glasses are making a comeback, to the delight of trendy girls. On Instagram, we notice a multitude of celebrities using the dress codes of the time. Bella Hadid , Kendall Jenner or Dua Lipa are the first to dig into the wardrobes of this older generation by adding their DNA. The result is more than successful since the vintage of the 60s goes perfectly with the looks of the generation Z.

WHAT ARE THE KEY PIECES OF THE 1960S?

For the start of the school year, we fall for the flagship pieces of the 60s. But then what were the favorite clothes of women of that time? On the program: leopard prints, vinyl outfits, checkered mini skirts and more. That's not all, the women of the time wore oversized sunglasses and were big fans of suit vests as a top. On the accessory side, they mostly wore bandanas in their hair and gaudy and kitsch jewelry. Impossible not to think of the thin scarves worn around the neck and the very flared pants. Back to the biggest trends of the 1960s.
